September is such a wonderful month and we have warm sunny days with just a hint of ‘settling down’, as if the world is getting ready for the winter. Oakfield has been busy with weddings- Tessa and Mike ; Christenings – Freddie and 21st Birthday Parties – fancy dress is certainly in this year.

It was such a pleasure to work in the Sun, we will all be complaining that it is too hot soon! This week we have been all over Sussex from windy Hove on Thursday to hot and sunny Hastings. Fingers crossed that Battle and Eastbourne will be sunny next weekend.
Wet and busy

Well it might have been raining but the Hog Roasts keep coming. Two celebrations this weekend including our own party in the barn. Wellie boots were standard dress. Happy Birthday Laura. St Swithin’s day today wonder if we will have 40 days of glorious sunshine…fingers crossed.
