The summer is coming to an end
September 9, 2013 | Oakfield
We have had a wonderful summer and have enjoyed all the weddings, parties, christenings and just ‘good fun times’. We have met some wonderful people and hopefully cooked some wonderful food. The weather has been glorious and even the couple of wet days were filled with laughter. Many memorable moments but here are just a few
– teaching 10 year old guests to open champagne
– watching a trapeze artiste pour champagne into glass held by an unsuspecting waitress
– roasting 4 lambs under an army mess tent in the p0uring rain
– moving an entire hog roast and salad bar into an old Anderson type garage as a thunderstorm erupted overhead – never underestimate the British spirit
– getting sunburnt at a football tournament
– completing a hog roast at a vegan venue
– hog roasting on a street as the animal rights movement protest were walking past
– making bouquets of flowers when the bride and groom had forgotten to order some – between starters and speeches
Now taking bookings for next year — nothing is too much trouble
