Meat and the environment
January 11, 2019 | Oakfield
As a farm, we do pride ourselves on producing good quality, low-intensity meat. This means our animals and ducks can grow and mature slowly whilst still being productive. We are trying to do our bit for the environment by reducing waste, use of plastic and composting as much as is possible. We are also doing more vegetable-based dishes, and this year will be seeing how productive our garden can be. We are already almost self-sufficient in apples and next year we hope to be more effective with our tomato crop.
